Rhonda Barrett, founder of Verde Résumés, graduated with honors from Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems - Software Development and a minor in Computer Information Systems - Web Development in 2006 while working full-time. After losing her job as a Sprint Tech Support Specialist at a 3rd party call center in 2008, she couldn't find a job as an administrative assistant due to being over qualified or as an entry level software/web developer due to not having 1-4 years professional experience. Based on inspiration from a past college assignment from one of her many CIS courses and things she read through many of the group forums that she is a member of on BrightFuse.com and LinkedIn.com, she decided to start her own business. It took her several months to come up with a company name and logo that expressed her love of nature and wanting it to be a green company.
